Akinmade is a foreigner, he has no base in Ondo state – A C N
The Action Congress of Nigeria, Ondo state chapter has carpeted the chief spokesman of Mimiko government, Mr Kayode Akinmade over the statement made by him referring to A C N as a party without structure in Ondo state. |
In a statement made available to The Rocket newspaper, A C N said Kayode Akinmade until now does not reside in Ondo state despite his claim of citizenship of Idanre. He is not a member of the dying Labour Party. The party said it is in doubt whether the commissioner duly registered in Ondo state.
“It is therefore out of order for somebody who is at best could be described as a distance indigene of Ondo state to assert faulty opinion on a matter that he has not the in-depth knowledge. We know as a party that the commissioner is doing the job he was paid to do and it is advisable he remains the trumpet of Mimiko administration rather than dabbling into issues that is beyond his comprehension”, the statement reads.
The party said the visit of Aregbesola into the state was not to come and access or condemned Mimiko as rightly stated by him but to bring the message of economic integration to the people of the state through the efforts of all the progressive elements in the party to bring back the Yoruba culture of politics of development and genuine transformation. |
